With an Intel Pentium dual-core processor (T3200) running at 2GHz it's a really spectacular machine that can handle any application you throw at it. And it doesn't just handle one, it can easily handle multiple tasks.
Aside from that it's got a 3GB RAM, which allows you to have like 20 Internet tabs open, music playing in the background, a video running with photo editing programs and an FTP client going, Microsoft Word 2007, Powerpoint 2007 etc. I've had all of these applications open and the RAM doesn't even reach 2GB, it's fabulous!
It's got a 250GB hard drive which can hold movies, pictures and whatever programs you like. The display is beautiful, it's a 15.4 inch Crystal Brite LCD. It's also got a webcam and a microphone at the top of the screen - the resolution is great, even in low lighting. The keyboard is a pleasure to use because it's not completely rectangular so you won't suffer from wrist pains due to weird typing positions.
